A partnership between Rare Dementia Support Canada (RDS CANADA) and Making Art Making Change (MAMC). The encounter between the MAMC facilitators and the RDS CANADA members has profoundly impacted all involved. We became a learning community filled with caring, dedicated individuals who made art together in our virtual studio.
There is a unique beauty in the companionship that arises from making art together—the quiet intensity of deep engagement and two hours of gentle distraction.
With each pencil stroke, threads of connection were drawn, each gathering a tapestry woven with laughter, reflection, and discovery.
Like a sudden breeze, a story left us refreshed and pondering— Courage, humour, honesty, fear, and trust wove their way into our time together.
MAMC’s facilitators are thankful for the opportunity to build deep human connections filled with humour, courage, and, most importantly, love.
