Encounters With Seniors

As we revisited our online connection with seniors from both centers we felt the privilege of working with a new cohort of clients. We watched the enthusiasm of participants and saw their  artwork evolve from week to week. The relationships that emerged within the group became  possibilities for a new self-sustaining community.

Progress Place and Dixon Hall believe in the restorative power of work, social connection, and community to support recovery. Elena and Vanessa, MAMC’s facilitators, enjoyed seeing this positivity developing through the eight weeks spent together making artist books.
