MAMC’s new partnership with SYME55+ concluded in a very successful project sharing.
Fifteen participants from the seniors program created artists' books responding to different aspects of portraiture. Many in the group were traditional watercolorists and by the third week participants were deeply engaged and the work reflects experimentation, original thinking, and interesting responses to the artists MAMC shared.
Participants became particularly intrigued by collage and were proud of their response to the beautiful papers and magazines we offered.
